Scale the 32-foot climbing tower, tackle the "Orange Beast" rope course, or try one of the many other climbing structures scattered throughout the park. The variety of difficulty levels means there's something for every kid.
Play all 18 holes of the park's disc golf course. Holes are 130–150 feet — beginner-friendly but still a satisfying challenge. The first tee is located near the pavilion. Bring your own discs.
Fox Hill Park's paved pathways and trail connections make it one of the best walking spots in Summerlin West. The park connects to the wider Summerlin trail system for extended walks and jogs through the community.
Bikers can access the park via the Summerlin trail network, with routes connecting to Paseos Park and surrounding neighborhoods. A great way to reach the park and explore the area.
Fox Hill Park is dog-friendly — leashed dogs are welcome throughout the park's lawns and trails. Please keep dogs out of the playground equipment areas and sports zones, and always clean up after your pet.
Spread out on the wide green lawns or reserve a spot under one of the four shaded picnic ramadas. BBQ grills are available. No glass containers or alcohol permitted in the park.
The park's elevated position in the Summerlin foothills makes it one of the best spots to watch the sun rise over the Las Vegas valley or set behind the Spring Mountains. The view of the Strip at dusk is especially stunning.
Fox Hill Park is popular for birthday parties, school outings, and community events. General use of open areas is free and first-come. For special event reservations in designated areas, a permit from the Summerlin Council is required.

Visit early morning (6–9 AM) or after 6 PM. Midday temperatures can exceed 105°F. Bring plenty of water. The park's shade ramadas help.
Ideal conditions — warm but comfortable. Afternoons are perfect for all activities. A favorite time for families.
Mild temperatures, often in the 50s–60s. Great for all-day visits. Dress in layers for early morning and evening visits.
Excellent conditions. Warm and sunny without extreme heat. One of the best times of year to enjoy the park's green lawns and views.
Visit early in the morning or later in the evening to enjoy cooler temperatures and beautiful sunrise or sunset views over the Strip.
The parking lot at the base of the hill fills quickly on busy weekends. Arrive early or use street parking on Antelope Ridge Drive.
Bring your own discs for the disc golf course — there is no disc rental at the park. The course is free to play.
Pack a picnic! The park has BBQ grills and four shaded ramadas. No glass containers or alcohol permitted.
Bring a camera — the panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and Spring Mountains are genuinely breathtaking, especially at golden hour.
The playground is geared more toward kids ages 5+, though younger children find plenty to enjoy too. The zip lines are the biggest hit with school-age kids.
